He went to Spain as a boy of 14 with Don Juan del Aquila.1 He succeeded as the 15th Knight of Glin.1 In 1613 he revived a chancery suit (begun by his father ) against Dean of Limerick for the advowsons of Kilfergus and Morgans (1625.)1 On 18 December 1628 he obtained livery from the Crown.1
