Mary Palmer was born on 4 December 1750.3 She was the daughter of Reverend John Palmer and Mary Reynolds.3,4 She married Murrough O’Brien, 1st Marquess of Thomond, son of Lord James O’Brien and Mary Jephson, on 25 July 1792 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 7 September 1820 at age 69 at Baylis House, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.3 She was buried at Taplow, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.
From 25 July 1792, her married name became O’Brien. After her marriage, Mary Palmer was styled as Countess of Inchiquin on 25 July 1792. After her marriage, Mary Palmer was styled as Marchioness of Thomond on 29 December 1800.
