     He was given the name of William Dundas at birth.1 In September 1759 his name was legally changed to William Baillie on inheriting the estate of lamington from his grandmother, Margaret Baillie.1

     Sir Charles Lockhart-Ross, 7th Bt. was born circa 1763.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir John Lockhart-Ross, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Dundas.1 He married, firstly, Matilda Theresa Lockhart-Wishart, daughter of Lt.-Gen. James Lockhart-Wishart, 4th of Carnwath and 17th of the Lee and Matilda Lockhart, circa 1788.2 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Rebecca FitzGerald, daughter of William Robert FitzGerald, 2nd Duke of Leinster and Hon. Emilia Olivia St. George, on 15 April 1799.3 He died on 8 February 1814.4
     He gained the title of 7th Baronet Lockhart [N.S., 1672].1

Admiral Sir Thomas John Cochrane1

     Admiral Sir Thomas John Cochrane was born on 5 February 1789.2 He was born on 5 February 1789.3 He was the son of Admiral Hon. Sir Alexander Forrester Cochrane and Maria Shaw.3,4 He married, firstly, Matilda Lockhart-Ross, daughter of Sir Charles Lockhart-Ross, 7th Bt. and Matilda Theresa Lockhart-Wishart, on 6 January 1812.1 He married, secondly, Rosetta Wheeler-Cuffe, daughter of Sir Jonah Denny Wheeler-Cuffe, 1st Bt., on 8 January 1853.2 He died on 19 October 1872 at age 83.2
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the Fleet.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)3

     Roger Grosvenor was born circa 1628.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Bt. and Sydney Mostyn.1 He married Christian Myddelton, daughter of General Sir Thomas Myddelton and Mary Napier, on 23 January 1649/50.1,2 He died on 22 August 1661, killed in a duel.1
     He was also known as Robert.3 He lived at Eaton, Cheshire, EnglandG.3 In 1660 nominated to be a Knight of the Royal Oak.2
