Admiral Sir John Lockhart-Ross, 6th Bt.1 
Admiral Sir John Lockhart-Ross, 6th Bt. was born on 11 November 1721.3 He was the son of Sir James Lockhart, 2nd Bt. and Grizel Ross.3 He married Elizabeth Dundas, daughter of Rt. Hon. Robert Dundas of Arniston and Henrietta Carmichael, on 6 September 1762.1 He died on 9 June 1790 at age 68.
He gained the title of 6th Baronet Lockhart [N.S., 1672].1
