     Nicholas Bagenal was the son of Arthur Bagenal and Magdalen Trevor.1 He married, firstly, Lady Annie Charlotte Bruce, daughter of Robert Bruce, 2nd Earl of Elgin and Lady Diana Grey.1 He married, secondly, Sydney Grosvenor, daughter of Roger Grosvenor and Christian Myddelton, in a childless marriage.1 He died in 1712.1 His will (dated 13 November 1708) was proven (by probate) in 1713, passing the family estates to his cousins Edward Bayly and Robert Needham, and ultimately to the Marquesses of Anglesey and the Earls of Kilmorey respectively.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anglesey.1 He lived at Plâs Newydd, Bangor, Gwynedd, WalesG.1 He lived at Newry, County Down, IrelandG.1

     Henrietta Elizabeth Ridley was the daughter of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 2nd Bt. and Sarah Colborne.1,2 She married, firstly, Hon. John Scott, son of John Scott, 1st Earl of Eldon and Elizabeth Surtees, on 22 August 1804.1 She married, secondly, James William Farrer, son of James Farrer and Frances Loxham, on 6 July 1811.1 She died on 10 October 1853.2
     From 22 August 1804, her married name became Scott.1 From 6 July 1811, her married name became Farrer.1
