     Millicent Mary Salton was the daughter of William Salton.¹ She married James Clifton of Mar, 30th Earl of Mar, son of Charles Macdonald Lane and Jessie Helen Grant, on 1 March 1939.¹ She and James Clifton of Mar, 30th Earl of Mar were divorced in 1958. She died in 1993.¹
     From 1 March 1939, her married name became Lane.

     David Charles of Mar, Lord Garioch was born on 10 August 1944.¹ He was the son of James Clifton of Mar, 30th Earl of Mar and Millicent Mary Salton.¹ He died on 8 January 1967 at age 22, unmarried.¹
     He was given the name of David Charles Lane at birth.¹ He was educated at Gosfield School, Essex, England^G.¹ He was styled as Master of Mar in 1959.¹ In 1959 his name was legally changed to David Charles of Mar recognised by the Lord Lyon.¹ He was styled as Lord Garioch in 1959.¹

     Mary Knapp was the daughter of Reverend Primatt Knapp.¹ She married Rev. Hon. Charles George Perceval, son of Charles George Perceval, 2nd Baron Arden and Margaretta Elizabeth Wilson, on 21 April 1829.¹ She died on 6 November 1832.¹
     Her married name became Perceval.

     Lady Janet Helen of Mar was born on 31 January 1946.¹ She is the daughter of James Clifton of Mar, 30th Earl of Mar and Millicent Mary Salton.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. Laurence of Mar, son of Archibald Anderson, on 22 March 1969.¹
     She was given the name of Janet Helen Lane at birth.¹ In 1959 her name was legally changed to Janet Helen of Mar recognised by the Lord Lyon.¹ She graduated from St. Andrews University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G, in 1968 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Marjorie Aileen Miller was the daughter of John Reginald Miller.¹ She married, firstly, Major C. W. S. Grice before 1960.¹ She married, secondly, James Clifton of Mar, 30th Earl of Mar, son of Charles Macdonald Lane and Jessie Helen Grant, in 1960.¹ She died on 25 November 1975.¹
     From before 1960, her married name became Grice.¹ Her married name became Lane. After her marriage, Marjorie Aileen Miller was styled as Countess of Mar on 27 November 1965.

     Dr. Andrew Fernie lived at Barnstaple, Devon, England^G.¹

     Judith Rose Hull is the daughter of John Folliott Hull.¹ She married John Michael Edward Seymour, 19th Duke of Somerset, son of Percy Hamilton Seymour, 18th Duke of Somerset and Gwendoline Collette Jane Thomas, on 20 May 1978.¹
     From 20 May 1978, her married name became Seymour. After her marriage, Judith Rose Hull was styled as Duchess of Somerset in 1984.

     John Folliott Hull is the son of Hubert Hull.²
     He lived at Kensington, London, England.¹

     Sebastian Edward Seymour, Lord Seymour was born on 3 February 1982.² He is the son of John Michael Edward Seymour, 19th Duke of Somerset and Judith Rose Hull.² He married Arlette Marie Leotine Lafayeedney, daughter of Daniel Lafayeedney, on 27 August 2006 at Lagrasse, France.³
     He was styled as Lord Seymour in 1984.¹

     Lord Charles Thomas George Seymour was born in 1992.¹ He is the son of John Michael Edward Seymour, 19th Duke of Somerset and Judith Rose Hull.²
