Down [U.K., 1945] on 3 May 1997.¹ He was a landowner and company director.¹ He lived in 2003 at Ballywalter Park, Ballywalter, Newtownards, County Down, Ireland^G.¹

     Jean Mary Kinloch was born on 3 November 1898.² She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir David Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 11th Bt. and Elinor Lucy Bromley Davenport.^1,3 She married Richard Henry Brinsley Norton, 6th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield, son of John Richard Brinsley Norton, 5th Lord Grantley, Baron of Markenfield and Katharine Buckner McVickar, on 3 April 1919.¹ She died on 16 January 1945 at age 46.¹
     Her married name became Norton.

     Brig.-Gen. Sir David Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 11th Bt. was born on 20 February 1856.² He was the son of Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 10th Bt. and Lucy Charlotte Anstruther.² He married Elinor Lucy Bromley Davenport, daughter of William Bromley Davenport and Augusta Elizabeth Campbell, on 25 November 1897.² He died on 27 October 1944 at age 88.²
     He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He fought in the Boer War, he was mentioned in despatches.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He was commander of the 6th London Infantry Brigade, Territorial Forces between 1908 and 1912.² He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.² He was director of Leslie and Godwin, insurance brokers.² He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Kinloch, of Gilmerton [N.S., 1686] on 11 March 1912.² He was commander of the 70th Infantry Brigade.² He fought in the First World War, he was mentioned in despatches.² He was Lieutenant Colonel and Brevet Colonel of the 1st Battalion, Grenadier Guards.² He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1917 in the 3rd Battalion, Grenadier Guards.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Cecil Alfred Hamilton Harmsworth was born on 20 March 1898. He was the son of Cecil Bisshopp Harmsworth, 1st Baron Harmsworth and Emilie Alberta Maffett. He died on 8 February 1899.

     Cecil Desmond Bernard Harmsworth, 2nd Baron Harmsworth was born on 19 August 1903.¹ He was the son of Cecil Bisshopp Harmsworth, 1st Baron Harmsworth and Emilie Alberta Maffett.¹ He married Dorothy Alexander Heinlein, daughter of Hon. Joseph Charles Heinlein, on 10 December 1926.¹ He died in 1990.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Harmsworth, of Egham, Surrey [U.K., 1939] on 13 August 1948.¹

     Dorothy Alexander Heinlein was the daughter of Hon. Joseph Charles Heinlein.¹ She married Cecil Desmond Bernard Harmsworth, 2nd Baron Harmsworth, son of Cecil Bisshopp Harmsworth, 1st Baron Harmsworth and Emilie Alberta Maffett, on 10 December 1926.¹ She died in 1990.¹
     Her married name became Harmsworth. After her marriage, Dorothy Alexander Heinlein was styled as Baroness Harmsworth on 13 August 1948.
