Anthony Maurice Gifford, 6th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1961 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s, co. Devon [U.K., 1824] on 16 April 1961.3 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1962 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was chairman of the Committee for the Freedom of Mozambique Angola and Guiné between 1968 and 1975.1 He was chairman of the Legal Action Group between 1978 and 1983.1 He was chairman of tthe Mozambique Angola Committee between 1982 and 1990.1 He wrote the book Where’s the Justice?, published 1986.1 He was senior partner of Gifford, Haughton and Thompson in 1991.1 He lived in 2003 at 122 Tower Street, Kingston, JamaicaG.1
