     From 1919, her married name became Allan.¹ From 6 May 1932, her married name became Boyd.¹

     Francis Kinloch was born on 6 October 1863 at Athelstaneford, East Lothian, Scotland^G.^2,3 He was the son of Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 10th Bt. and Lucy Charlotte Anstruther.² He married Marion Eva Marshall, daughter of Charles Nairne Marshall, on 25 March 1896.² He died on 18 May 1916 at age 52.²
     He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He was a practising Advocate.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for East Lothian.²

     Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 10th Bt. was born on 1 February 1830.¹ He was the son of Sir David Kinloch of Gilmerton, 9th Bt. and Eleanor Hyndford Gibson-Carmichael.^1,2 He was baptised on 9 April 1830 at Kirkurd, Peebles-shire, Scotland^G.³ He married Lucy Charlotte Anstruther, daughter of Sir Ralph Abercromby Anstruther of Balcaskie, 4th Bt. and Mary Jane Torrens, on 12 August 1852.¹ He died on 11 March 1912 at age 82.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1854 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Haddington.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Haddington.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Kinloch, of Gilmerton [N.S., 1686] on 23 February 1879.¹

     Lucy Charlotte Anstruther was the daughter of Sir Ralph Abercromby Anstruther of Balcaskie, 4th Bt. and Mary Jane Torrens.¹ She married Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 10th Bt., son of Sir David Kinloch of Gilmerton, 9th Bt. and Eleanor Hyndford Gibson-Carmichael, on 12 August 1852.¹ She died on 14 November 1903.¹
     From 12 August 1852, her married name became Kinloch.¹

     Lt.-Col. Henry Alexander Boyd was born on 11 July 1877.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Walter Boyd, 1st Bt. and Annie Catherine Anderson.¹ He married Moya Exham, daughter of John Shaw Exham, on 22 July 1908.¹ He died on 1 November 1943 at age 66.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in dispathces four times.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹

     Moya Exham was the daughter of John Shaw Exham.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Henry Alexander Boyd, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Walter Boyd, 1st Bt. and Annie Catherine Anderson, on 22 July 1908.¹ She died on 26 March 1959.¹
     From 22 July 1908, her married name became Boyd.¹
