     Hon. Julia Dorothy Cornwallis was born in 1887. She was the daughter of Fiennes Stanley Wykeham Cornwallis, 1st Baron Cornwallis and Mabel Leigh.² She married Captain Hon. Sir Archibald Douglas Cochrane, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Horatio Arthur Ernest Cochrane, 1st Baron Cochrane of Cults and Lady Gertrude Julia Georgina Boyle, on 6 January 1926.¹ She died on 15 June 1971.²
     Her married name became Cochrane. She was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1952.¹

     Hon. Vere Mabel Cornwallis was born in 1889. She was the daughter of Fiennes Stanley Wykeham Cornwallis, 1st Baron Cornwallis and Mabel Leigh.² She married Sir Samuel Strang Steel of Philiphaugh, 1st Bt., son of William Strang Steel of Philiphaugh and Rosetta Barber, on 3 August 1910.² She died on 8 October 1964.¹
     From 3 August 1910, her married name became Strang Steel.

     Sir Samuel Strang Steel of Philiphaugh, 1st Bt. was born on 1 August 1882.¹ He was the son of William Strang Steel of Philiphaugh and Rosetta Barber.² He married Hon. Vere Mabel Cornwallis, daughter of Fiennes Stanley Wykeham Cornwallis, 1st Baron Cornwallis and Mabel Leigh, on 3 August 1910.¹ He died on 14 August 1961 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He gained the rank of First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Lothians and Border Horse Yeomanry.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) 9unionist) for Ashford, Kent between 1918 and 1929.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Selkirk.¹ He was member of hte Forestry Commission in 1932.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Strang Steel, of Philiphaugh, Selkirk [U.K.] on 2 July 1938.¹ He was Lieutenant of the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He was director of the Bank of Scotland.¹ He was director of the LNER before 1948.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Selkirk between 1948 and 1958.¹

     Hon. Bridget Frances Kate Cornwallis was born in 1900. She is the daughter of Fiennes Stanley Wykeham Cornwallis, 1st Baron Cornwallis and Mabel Leigh.² She married Lt.-Col. John Cecil Petherick, son of George Petherick, on 4 July 1921.¹
     Her married name became Petherick.

     Lt.-Col. John Cecil Petherick was born in 1889. He was the son of George Petherick.² He married Hon. Bridget Frances Kate Cornwallis, daughter of Fiennes Stanley Wykeham Cornwallis, 1st Baron Cornwallis and Mabel Leigh, on 4 July 1921.¹
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Hussars.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     George Petherick lived at Porthpaean, St. Austell, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Fiennes Neil Wykeham Cornwallis, 3rd Baron Cornwallis was born on 29 June 1921.¹ He was the son of Colonel Wykeham Stanley Cornwallis, 2nd Baron Cornwallis and Cecily Etha Mary Walker.¹ He married, firstly, Judith Lacy Scott, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Lacy Scott, on 17 October 1942.¹ He and Judith Lacy Scott were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, secondly, Agnes Jean Russell Landale, daughter of Captain Henderson Russell Landale and Gladys Rose Phipps, on 1 June 1951.¹ He married, thirdly, Stephanie (?) on 6 April 2002.³ He died on 5 March 2010 at age 88.

     Judith Lacy Scott is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Lacy Scott.¹ She married Fiennes Neil Wykeham Cornwallis, 3rd Baron Cornwallis, son of Colonel Wykeham Stanley Cornwallis, 2nd Baron Cornwallis and Cecily Etha Mary Walker, on 17 October 1942.¹ She and Fiennes Neil Wykeham Cornwallis, 3rd Baron Cornwallis were divorced in 1948.¹
     Her married name became Cornwallis.

     Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Lacy Scott was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He lived at Ashcroft, Wadhurst, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Fiennes Wykeham Jeremy Cornwallis, 4th Baron Cornwallis was born on 25 May 1946.¹ He is the son of Fiennes Neil Wykeham Cornwallis, 3rd Baron Cornwallis and Judith Lacy Scott.¹ He married Sara Gray de Neufville Stockwell, daughter of Lt.-Col. Nigel Stockwell and Deidre Jarman, on 29 March 1969.¹
     Fiennes Wykeham Jeremy Cornwallis, 4th Baron Cornwallis usually went by his middle name of Jeremy.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at 15 Mabelthorpe Road, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Cornwallis, of Linton, co.
