     He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)1 He was Comptroller of the Household to HRH Princess Beatrice.1

     She was Extra Lady-in-Waiting to HRH Princess Beatrice between 1912 and 1944.1 Her married name became Corkran.
