     Anne Catharina Hamilton was the daughter of James Hamilton and Lady Sophia Mordaunt.¹ She married Michael Ward, son of Bernard Ward and Anne Ward, in 1709.²
     From 1709, her married name became Ward.²

     Sir Hugh Charles Clifford was born on 5 March 1866.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Lydia Rosabelle Bonham, daughter of Edward Bonham, on 24 September 1910.¹ He married, firstly, Minna à Beckett, daughter of Gilbert à Beckett, on 15 April 1896.¹ He died on 18 December 1941 at age 75.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Erdeswick Butler-Bowdon was born in 1850. He married Hon. Monica Mary Petre, daughter of William Bernard Petre, 12th Baron Petre and Mary Theresa Clifford, on 5 February 1879.¹ He died on 2 January 1929.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Southgate, Derbyshire, England^G. He lived at Pleasington Hall, Lancashire, England^G.

     Major Cecil Edward Trafford was born in 1884. He was the son of Edward Southwell Trafford and Hon. Eleanor Mary Petre.² He married Monica Elizabeth Mary Clifford, daughter of Sir Hugh Charles Clifford and Minna à Beckett, on 9 June 1925.¹ He died on 15 December 1948.
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.³ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Monica Elizabeth Mary Clifford was born on 4 May 1903.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Hugh Charles Clifford and Minna à Beckett.² She married, firstly, Major Cecil Edward Trafford, son of Edward Southwell Trafford and Hon. Eleanor Mary Petre, on 9 June 1925.¹ She married, secondly, Major Richard Desiré Girouard, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Edward Percy Cranwell Girouard and Mary Gwendolen Solomon, on 10 October 1952.¹ She died on 11 January 1965 at age 61.¹
     From 9 June 1925, her married name became Trafford. From 10 October 1952, her married name became Girouard.

     Minna à Beckett was the daughter of Gilbert à Beckett.² She married Sir Hugh Charles Clifford, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice, on 15 April 1896.¹ She died on 14 January 1907.¹
     Her married name became Clifford.

     Elizabeth Lydia Rosabelle Bonham was the daughter of Edward Bonham.¹ She married, firstly, Henry Philip Ducarel de la Pasture, son of Henri Pierre de la Pasture, 3rd Marquis de la Pasture, before 1910.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Hugh Charles Clifford, son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice, on 24 September 1910.¹ She died on 30 October 1945.¹
     From before 1910, her married name became Ducarel de la Pasture.¹ Her married name became Clifford. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Josephine Elizabeth Anstice was born in 1826. She was the daughter of Joseph Anstice.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C., son of Hugh Charles Clifford, 7th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh and Mary Lucy Weld, on 21 March 1857.¹ She died on 15 January 1913.¹
     Her married name became Clifford.

     Joseph Anstice lived at Madley Wood, Shropshire, England^G.¹
