     Major Arthur Paul Dashwood was born on 17 July 1882.¹ He was the son of Sir George John Egerton Dashwood, 6th Bt. and Lady Mary Margaret Seymour.¹ He married Edmée Elizabeth Monica Ducarel de la Pasture, daughter of Henry Philip Ducarel de la Pasture and Elizabeth Lydia Rosabelle Bonham, on 17 July 1919.¹ He died on 4 April 1964 at age 81.¹
     Major Arthur Paul Dashwood usually went by his middle name of Paul.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He lived Associate Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.)¹

     Adam Clayton Powell III married Beryl S. Slocum, daughter of John Jermain Slocum and Eileen Gillespie.¹ He and Beryl S. Slocum were divorced.¹

     Lionel Paul Dashwood was born on 13 August 1920.¹ He was the son of Major Arthur Paul Dashwood and Edmée Elizabeth Monica Ducarel de la Pasture.¹ He died on 4 November 1940 at age 20, killed during military training.¹

     Rosamund Margaret Dashwood was born in 1923.¹ She is the daughter of Major Arthur Paul Dashwood and Edmée Elizabeth Monica Ducarel de la Pasture.¹ She married Leslie Harold Truelove, son of H. E. Truelove, on 3 January 1948.¹

     Leslie Harold Truelove is the son of H. E. Truelove. He married Rosamund Margaret Dashwood, daughter of Major Arthur Paul Dashwood and Edmée Elizabeth Monica Ducarel de la Pasture, on 3 January 1948.¹
