     Brig.-Gen. Henry Frederick Hugh Clifford was born on 13 August 1867.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice.² He died on 11 September 1916 at age 49, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the Suffolk Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and mentioed in despatches.¹ He was Brigadier-General of the British Expeditionary Force.¹ He was awarded the Order of St. Stanislaus of Russia 3rd Class.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Reverend Everard Louis Hugh Clifford was born on 2 June 1871.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice.² He died on 16 December 1935 at age 64.¹
     He fought in the Boer War in 1900.¹ He was a Benedictine monk.¹

     May Clifford was born on 29 July 1859.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice.² She died on 6 October 1861 at age 2.¹

     Emily Josephine Clifford was born on 23 July 1860.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice.² She married Major Hubert George Howard Galton, son of Theodore Howard Galton and Frances Amelia Arthur, on 22 April 1885.¹ She died on 28 December 1923 at age 63.¹
     Her married name became Galton.

     William Joseph FitzHerbert-Brockholes was born on 29 May 1851 at Brighton, Sussex, England.² He was the son of Francis Fitzherbert and Maria Teresa Gandolfi.² He married, firstly, Mary Ida Berkeley, daughter of Robert Martin Berkeley and Lady Mary Catherine Browne, on 9 May 1876.² He married, secondly, Blanche Winifred Mary Clifford, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice, on 1 July 1885 at Kingston-upon-Thames, London, England.¹ He died on 21 January 1924 at age 72.³
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was given the name of William Joseph Fitzherbert at birth.² In 1875 his name was legally changed to William Joseph Fitzherbert-Brockholes on inheriting the estate of his cousin, James Fitzherbert-Brockholes.³ He lived at Claughton Hall, Lancashire, England^G.³

     Blanche Winifred Mary Clifford was born on 3 November 1861.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice.² She married William Joseph FitzHerbert-Brockholes, son of Francis Fitzherbert and Maria Teresa Gandolfi, on 1 July 1885 at Kingston-upon-Thames, London, England.¹ She died on 1 October 1918 at age 56.¹
     Her married name became FitzHerbert-Brockholes.

     Major Hubert George Howard Galton was born on 6 February 1854.² He was the son of Theodore Howard Galton and Frances Amelia Arthur.² He married Emily Josephine Clifford, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Hugh Clifford, V.C. and Josephine Elizabeth Anstice, on 22 April 1885.¹ He died on 21 September 1928 at age 74.
     He retired from the military in August 1896, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He lived at Hadzor House, Droitwich, Worcestershire, England^G.¹

     Theodore Hugh Galton was born on 20 October 1888. He was the son of Major Hubert George Howard Galton and Emily Josephine Clifford. He died on 21 October 1914 at age 26, killed in action.
     He fought in the First World War.

     Francis William Joseph Galton was born on 14 August 1895. He was the son of Major Hubert George Howard Galton and Emily Josephine Clifford. He died on 23 April 1917 at age 21, killed in action.
     He fought in the First World War.

     Lucy Mary Galton was born on 7 May 1886. She was the daughter of Major Hubert George Howard Galton and Emily Josephine Clifford. She died on 18 June 1928 at age 42.
