Prince Sherban Cantacuzino was born on 6 September 1928 at Paris, France.1 He was the son of Prince Georges Matei Cantacuzino and Sanda Stirbey.1 He married Anne Mary Trafford, daughter of Major Cecil Edward Trafford and Monica Elizabeth Mary Clifford, on 29 January 1954. He died on 19 February 2018 at age 89.1
He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He wrote the book Modern Houses of the World, published 1964.1 He was executive editor of the Architectural Review in 1973.1 He wrote the book New Uses for Old Buildings, published 1975.1
