     Colonel Richard Donaldson married Hon. Charlotte Agnes Mary Preston, daughter of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham, on 21 June 1870.¹ He died on 27 May 1898, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Hartlands, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Louisa Mary Jerningham was born on 14 July 1808.¹ She was the daughter of William Charles Jerningham and Anne Wright.² She died on 25 April 1893 at age 84.¹
     She was Mother Superior of the Franciscan Convent at The Lodge, Taunton, Somerset, England.¹

     Gertrude Frances Jerningham was born on 31 July 1811.² She was the daughter of William Charles Jerningham and Anne Wright.^1,2 She married Sir Edward Charles Blount, son of Edward Blount and Frances Wright, on 18 November 1834.² She died on 9 November 1897 at age 86.¹
     Her married name became Blount.

     Sir Edward Charles Blount was born on 14 March 1809.¹ He was the son of Edward Blount and Frances Wright.¹ He married Gertrude Frances Jerningham, daughter of William Charles Jerningham and Anne Wright, on 18 November 1834.² He died on 15 March 1905 at age 96.¹
     He was Consul to Paris in 1871.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He lived at Imberhorne, Sussex, England^G.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Edward Blount was born on 18 July 1769.¹ He was the son of Sir Walter Blount, 6th Bt. and Hon. Mary Aston.¹ He married Frances Wright, daughter of Francis Wright, on 20 April 1803.¹ He died on 20 March 1843 at age 73.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning.¹ He lived at Shablington, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Frances Wright was the daughter of Francis Wright.¹ She married Edward Blount, son of Sir Walter Blount, 6th Bt. and Hon. Mary Aston, on 20 April 1803.¹ She died on 2 May 1859.¹
     Her married name became Blount.

     Bernard Ward, 1st Viscount Bangor was born on 18 August 1719.^1,2 He was the son of Michael Ward and Anne Catharina Hamilton.¹ He was baptised on 6 September 1719.¹ He married Lady Ann Bligh, daughter of John Bligh, 1st Earl of Darnley and Theodosia Hyde, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold), in December 1747.¹ He died on 20 May 1781 at age 61 at Castle Ward, County Down, Ireland^G.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Down between 1745 and 1770.¹ He was created 1st Baron Bangor, of Castle Ward, co. Down [Ireland] on 30 May 1770.¹ He lived at Bangor, County Down, Ireland^G.¹ He was created 1st Viscount Bangor, of Castle Ward, co. Down [Ireland] on 11 January 1781.¹

     Herbert Aston Edward Blount was born on 22 April 1837.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Charles Blount and Gertrude Frances Jerningham.¹ He died on 21 July 1878 at age 41.¹

     Henry Edmund Blount was born on 16 December 1844.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Charles Blount and Gertrude Frances Jerningham.¹ He married Marguerite Marie Hyacinthe de la Rochette, daughter of Baron Charles Paul Marie Moreau de la Rochette, on 5 July 1869.¹ He died on 10 January 1911 at age 66.¹
     He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.¹
