     James Hamilton was the son of James Hamilton and Margaret Kynaston.2 He married Lady Sophia Mordaunt, daughter of John Mordaunt, 1st Earl of Peterborough and Elizabeth Howard. He died in 1707.2
     He lived at Bangor, County Down, IrelandG.1

     Edmund Charles Reginald Sheffield was born on 24 October 1908.2 He is the son of Sir Berkeley Digby George Sheffield, 6th Bt. and Julie Marie Barones van Tuyll van Serooskerken.2 He married Nancy Muriel Denise Soames, daughter of Edward Roland Soames and Eleanor Corisande Astley, on 12 November 1931 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.2,3 He died on 6 March 1977 at age 68.2
     Edmund Charles Reginald Sheffield usually went by his middle name of Reginald.2 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1944, where he was mentioned in dispatches and was wounded.2 He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Northamptonshire Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1951.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire in 1954.2
