     Sir John Francis Mellor, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 March 1925.¹ He was the son of Sir John Serocold Paget Mellor, 2nd Bt. and Rachel Margaret Cook.¹ He married Alix Marie Villaret, daughter of Charles François Villaret and Sophie Cornelie Marie Josephe Legay, on 22 November 1948.¹ He died on 8 November 1990 at age 65.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was an accountant.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Army Service Corps and Intelligence Corps.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1943 and 1946.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mellor, of Culmhead, co. Somerset [U.K., 1924] on 15 July 1986.² On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.²

     Alix Marie Villaret was born in 1925 at Kensington, London, England.² She was the daughter of Charles François Villaret and Sophie Cornelie Marie Josephe Legay.^1,2 She married Sir John Francis Mellor, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Serocold Paget Mellor, 2nd Bt. and Rachel Margaret Cook, on 22 November 1948.¹ She died in 1997.²
     From 22 November 1948, her married name became Mellor.¹

     Simon Hood Mellor was born on 10 August 1928.¹ He was the son of Sir John Serocold Paget Mellor, 2nd Bt. and Rachel Margaret Cook.¹ He died on 3 January 1934 at age 5.¹

     John Mellor died in 1861.¹
     He lived at Leicester, Leicestershire, England.¹

     Catherine Reed is the daughter of Simon Reed.¹ She married Hon. Edward Francis Pellew, son of Paul Edward Pellew, 10th Viscount Exmouth and Rosemary Frances Scoones, on 2 June 2023.¹

     Theophilius Metcalfe emigrated to Ireland arriving on circa 1690.¹

     Henry Theophilius Metcalfe was born on 12 February 1796.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Metcalfe, 1st Bt. and Susannah Selina Sophia Debonnaire.¹ He died in August 1804 at age 8.¹

     Sir Theophilius John Metcalfe, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 September 1784.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Metcalfe, 1st Bt. and Susannah Selina Sophia Debonnaire.¹ He married Selina Sophia Russell, daughter of Thomas Russell, on 1 March 1804.¹ He died on 15 August 1822 at age 37.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Metcalfe, of Chilton, co. Berks [U.K., 1802] on 17 November 1813.¹

     Sir Charles Herbert Theopilius Metcalfe, 6th Bt. was born on 8 September 1853.¹ He was the son of Sir Theophilus John Metcalfe, 5th Bt. and Charlotte Low.¹ He died on 29 December 1928 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Metcalfe, of Chilton, co. Berks [U.K., 1802] on 8 November 1883.¹ He lived Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)¹
