     William Pakenham, Lord Silchester was born on 19 October 1864.¹ He was the son of General William Lygon Pakenham, 4th Earl of Longford and Hon. Selina Rice-Trevor.¹ He died on 16 February 1876 at age 11.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Thomas Pakenham, 5th Earl of Longford was born on 19 October 1864.¹ He was the son of General William Lygon Pakenham, 4th Earl of Longford and Hon. Thomas Pakenham, 5th Earl of Longford and Lady Mary Julia Child-Villiers.¹ He married Christine Patti Trew, daughter of Richard Trew, on 18 July 1925.¹ He died on 4 February 1961 at age 58, without issue.¹
