Gilbert Greenall, 1st Baron Daresbury was born on 30 March 1867.1 He was the son of Sir Gilbert Greenall, 1st Bt. and Susannah Rapp.3 He married Frances Eliza Griffith, daughter of Captain Edward Wynne Griffith, on 25 October 1900.1 He died on 24 October 1938 at age 71.1
