     Sir Lewis Mackenzie of Scatwell, 3rd Bt. was born in 1715.1 He was the son of Sir Roderick Mackenzie of Scatwell, 2nd Bt. and Janet Grant.2 He married Isabel Mackenzie, daughter of Colin Mackenzie of Mountgerald, in 1739.1 He died on 13 September 1756.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mackenzie, of Scatwell, co. Ross [N.S., 1703] on 24 April 1750.1
