Anthony Dymoke Powell was born on 21 December 1905 at 44 Ashley Gardens, Westminster, London, England.3 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Philip Lionel William Powell and Maud Mary Wells-Dymoke.1,3 He married Lady Violet Georgiana Pakenham, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Thomas Pakenham, 5th Earl of Longford and Lady Mary Julia Child-Villiers, on 1 December 1934.4 He died on 28 March 2000 at age 94.1
