(Liberal) for Tralee between 1863 and 1865.1 He held the office of Justice of teh Court of Common Pleas between 1865 and 1868.1 He held the office of Lord Chancellor [Ireland] between 1868 and 1874.1 He was created 1st Baron O’Hagan of Tullahogue, co. Tyrone [U.K.] on 14 June 1870.1 He held the office of Lord Chancellor [Ireland] between 1880 and 1881.1 He held the office of Vice-Chancellor of Royal University between 1881 and 1885.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) in 1882.1

Lord George Charles Gordon-Lennox was born on 22 October 1829.1 He was the son of Charles Gordon-Lennox, 5th Duke of Richmond and Lady Caroline Paget.1 He married Minnie Augusta Palmer, daughter of William Henry Palmer, on 3 August 1875.3 He died on 27 February 1877 at age 47, without issue.1
