     Lilian Carter was the daughter of Thomas Lane Carter.¹ She married Sir Otto John Beit, 1st Bt., son of Siegfried Beit and Laura Caroline Hahn, on 27 May 1897.¹ She died on 7 November 1946.¹
     From 27 May 1897, her married name became Beit.¹
