     Maud Isabel Howard was born on 26 May 1858 at Greystoke, Cumberland, England.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Howard and Charlotte Caroline Georgina Long.² She married Francis William Leyborne-Popham, son of Francis Leyborne-Popham and Elizabeth Block, on 12 November 1890 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹ She died on 12 November 1929 at age 71.³
     From 1899, her married name became Leyborne-Popham.

     Francis William Leyborne-Popham was born in 1862 at London, England.² He was the son of Francis Leyborne-Popham and Elizabeth Block.² He married Maud Isabel Howard, daughter of Henry Howard and Charlotte Caroline Georgina Long, on 12 November 1890 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.² He died on 15 July 1907, without issue.¹
     He lived at Littlecote, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Henry Howard Molyneux Herbert, 4th Earl of Carnarvon was born on 24 June 1831 at Grosvenor Square, London, England^G.² He was the son of Henry John George Herbert, 3rd Earl of Carnarvon and Henrietta Anna Howard.³ He married, firstly, Lady Evelyn Stanhope, daughter of George Stanhope, 6th Earl of Chesterfield and Hon. Anne Elizabeth Weld Forester, on 5 September 1861 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.⁴ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Catherine Howard, daughter of Henry Howard and Charlotte Caroline Georgina Long, on 26 December 1878.⁵ He died on 28 June 1890 at age 59 at 43 Portman Square, London, England^G.⁶ He was buried at Highclere Castle, Newbury, Berkshire, England^G.⁶ His will was proven (by probate), at £313,259 gross and £242,419 net.⁶
     He was styled as Lord Porchester between 1833 and 1849.² He was educated between 1844 and 1848 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.⁷ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 17 October 1849.² He succeeded as the 4th Earl of The Town and County of Carnarvon [G.B., 1793] on 10 December 1849.⁵ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Porchester of Highclere, co.      Lady Evelyn Stanhope was born on 3 November 1834 at Chesterfield House, Mayfair, London, England^G.³ She was the daughter of George Stanhope, 6th Earl of Chesterfield and Hon. Anne Elizabeth Weld Forester.^1,4 She married Henry Howard Molyneux Herbert, 4th Earl of Carnarvon, son of Henry John George Herbert, 3rd Earl of Carnarvon and Henrietta Anna Howard, on 5 September 1861 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.⁵ She died on 25 January 1875 at age 40 at 16 Bruton Street, London, England^G, from puerperal fever.³ She was buried at Highclere Castle, Newbury, Berkshire, England^G.³
     From 5 September 1861, her married name became Herbert. After her marriage, Lady Evelyn Stanhope was styled as Countess of Carnarvon on 5 September 1861. On 1 December 1871 she inherited Bretby and other estates from her brother.⁴
     According to Lady Waterford, she “had everything, beauty, talent, charm and goodness.”³

     George Stanhope, 6th Earl of Chesterfield was born on 23 May 1805 at Bretby Hall, Derbyshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Philip Stanhope, 5th Earl of Chesterfield and Lady Henrietta Thynne.¹ He married Hon. Anne Elizabeth Weld Forester, daughter of Cecil Weld Forester, 1st Baron Forester of Willey Park and Lady Katherine Mary Manners, on 30 November 1830.¹ He died on 1 June 1866 at age 61 at 3 Grosvenor Square, London, England^G.¹ He was buried on 8 June 1866 at Bretby, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Chesterfield, co. Derby [E., 1628] on 29 August 1815.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Stanhope of Shelford, co.      He was styled as Lord Porchester between 1811 and 1833.² He was educated between 1812 and 1817 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.⁴ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 22 October 1817.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Wootton Bassett between 1831 and 1832.⁵ He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Porchester of Highclere, co.      Henrietta Anna Howard was born on 17 July 1804.² She was the daughter of Lord Henry Thomas Howard-Molyneux-Howard and Elizabeth Long.^2,3 She was baptised on 7 August 1804 at Arundel, Sussex, England.⁴ She married Henry John George Herbert, 3rd Earl of Carnarvon, son of Henry George Herbert, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon and Elizabeth Kitty Acland, on 4 August 1830 at Aldingbourne, Sussex, England^G.² She died on 26 May 1876 at age 71 at Pixton Park, England^G.² Her will was proven (by probate) on 7 July 1876, at under £10,000.²
     Her married name became Herbert. After her marriage, Henrietta Anna Howard was styled as Countess of Carnarvon on 16 April 1833.

     Reverend William Valentine Lloyd was born in 1825.² He was the son of William Lloyd and Jane Fitzgerald de Beaumont.² He married Hon. Caroline Amelia Sophia Aylmer, daughter of Captain John Athelmar Aylmer and Elizabeth Coates, on 10 February 1850.¹ He died in 1896.¹
     He was the Rector at Haselbech, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     General Sir Thomas Pearson is the son of Reverend Henry Thomas Horner Pearson.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Mary Isabella Howard was the daughter of Edward Gyles Howard and Frances Anne Heneage.¹ She died on 10 June 1867, unmarried.¹
