Geoffrey Hope-Morley, 2nd Baron Hollenden1
Geoffrey Hope-Morley, 2nd Baron Hollenden was born on 28 January 1885.3 He is the son of Samuel Morley, 1st Baron Hollenden and Laura Marianne Birch.4 He married, firstly, Hon. Mary Sidney Katharine Almina Gardner, daughter of Herbert Colstoun Gardner, 1st and last Baron Burghclere of Walden and Lady Winifred Anne Henrietta Christiana Herbert, on 12 December 1914.1 He and Hon. Mary Sidney Katharine Almina Gardner were divorced in 1928.5 He married, secondly, Muriel Ivy Gladstone, daughter of Sir John Evelyn Gladstone, 4th Bt. and Gertrude Theresa Miller, on 6 May 1929.4 He married, thirdly, Violet Norris Leverton, daughter of Alfred Leverton, on 7 January 1963.3 He died on 19 October 1977 at age 92, without male issue.3
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He held the office of High Sheriff of the County of London in 1917.3 On 24 October 1923 his name was legally changed to Geoffrey Hope-Morley by Deed Poll.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1927.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Hollenden, of Leigh, co. Kent [U.K., 1912] on 18 February 1929.3
