     Peter Conolan lived at County Sligo, Ireland^G.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹

     Francis Peter Conolan is the son of Peter Conolan.² He married Sophia Ann Chetwynd, daughter of Major William Fawkener Chetwynd and Mary Anne Mosley, on 10 January 1870.¹

     Caroline Chetwynd is the daughter of Major William Fawkener Chetwynd and Mary Anne Mosley.²

     George Philip Cecil Arthur Stanhope, 7th Earl of Chesterfield was born on 28 September 1831.¹ He was the son of George Stanhope, 6th Earl of Chesterfield and Hon. Anne Elizabeth Weld Forester.¹ He died on 1 December 1871 at age 40 at Bretby Hall, Derbyshire, England^G, from typhoid fever, unmarried.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 26 January 1872, at under £80,000.²
     He was also known as George Arthur Philip.¹ He was educated between 1845 and 1847 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Cornet in 1849 in the Horse Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1853.¹ He retired from the military in 1855.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Nottinghamshire between 1860 and 1866.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Chesterfield, co. Derby [E., 1628] on 1 June 1866.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron Stanhope of Shelford, co. Nottingham [E., 1616] on 1 June 1866.¹ His last will was dated 6 May 1871. On 17 November 1871 he caught typhoid fever, along with the Prince of Wales, while staying at Londesborough Lodge, near Scarborough. While the pricne recovered, the Earl succumbed.¹

     Reverend John Hayes Petit married Harriet Atley, daughter of John Atley and Mary Wagstaffe.²
     He lived at Hilton Park Hall, Hilton, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Anne Petit was the daughter of Reverend John Hayes Petit and Harriet Atley.² She married Henry Chetwynd, son of Sir George Chetwynd, 1st Bt. and Jane Bantin, on 6 September 1827.¹ She died on 5 January 1888.¹
     From 6 September 1827, her married name became Chetwynd.

     Ferdinand Stanhope is the son of Reverend Michael Stanhope and Penelope Lovell.¹

     Rear-Admiral John Stanhope was born in 1744.² He was the son of Ferdinand Stanhope.¹ He married Caroline Dent, daughter of Captain Cotton Dent and Catherine Bowerbank, in 1784.² He died in 1800.²

     George Charles Stanhope was born in 1789.² He was the son of Rear-Admiral John Stanhope and Caroline Dent.^1,2 He married Jane Galbraith, daughter of Sir James Galbraith, in 1820.^1,2 He died in 1833.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 29th Foot.¹

     Jane Galbraith was the daughter of Sir James Galbraith.¹ She married George Charles Stanhope, son of Rear-Admiral John Stanhope and Caroline Dent, in 1820.^1,2 She died on 13 January 1873.²
     From 1820, her married name became Stanhope.¹
