     Frances Harriet Barlow was the daughter of Admiral Sir Robert Barlow and Elizabeth Garrett. She married Vice-Admiral George Byng, 6th Viscount Torrington, son of John Byng, 5th Viscount Torrington and Bridget Forrest, on 5 October 1811.1 She died on 7 February 1868.1
     From 5 October 1811, her married name became Byng.1 After her marriage, Frances Harriet Barlow was styled as Viscountess Torrington on 8 January 1813.

     From 19 December 1797, her married name became Cecil.2 From 13 September 1805, her married name became Steuart.1
