Devon [G.B., 1721] on 14 December 1812.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Byng, of Wrotham, Kent [G.B., 1715] on 14 December 1812.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Byng of Southill, co. Bedford [G.B., 1721] on 14 December 1812.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
