     Anne Steuart was the daughter of Robert Steuart of Alderston.² She married Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt., son of Sir James Pringle of Stichill, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Macleod, on 17 January 1826.¹ She died on 4 August 1883.¹
     From 17 January 1826, her married name became Pringle.¹

     Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt. was born on 16 April 1836.¹ He was the son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart.² He married Louisa Clementina Steuart, daughter of Robert Steuart of Alderston and Maria Dalrymple, on 10 January 1871.¹ He died on 21 July 1897 at age 61.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Pringle, of Stichill [N.S., 1683] on 18 April 1870.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He was Colonel of the 1st Battalion, S Staffordshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Selkirk.¹

     Francis John Pringle was born in 1839.¹ He was the son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart.² He died, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Army.¹

     Walter Louis Pringle was born in 1846.¹ He was the son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart.² He died on 3 August 1884.¹
     He was a senior clerk in the Privy Council office.¹

     Ann Sykes was baptised in 1674.¹ She was the daughter of William Sykes and Elizabeth Stephenson.¹ She married William Chappel.¹
     Her married name became Chappel.¹

     William Chappel married Ann Sykes, daughter of William Sykes and Elizabeth Stephenson.¹

     Robert Steuart of Alderston was born on 9 July 1806.² He was the son of Robert Steuart of Alderston and Louisa Clementina Drummond.² He married Maria Dalrymple, daughter of General unknown Dalrymple, on 10 July 1827.² He died circa 1843.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹

     Louisa Clementina Steuart was the daughter of Robert Steuart of Alderston and Maria Dalrymple.^2,3 She married Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt., son of Sir Norman Pringle of Stichill, 6th Bt. and Anne Steuart, on 10 January 1871.¹ She died on 29 July 1922.¹
     From 10 January 1871, her married name became Pringle.¹

     Sir Norman Robert Pringle of Stichill, 8th Bt. was born on 18 October 1871.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt. and Louisa Clementina Steuart.² He married Florence Madge Vaughan, daughter of J. Vaughan, in 1902.¹ He died on 8 April 1919 at age 47, on active service.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Pringle, of Stichill [N.S., 1683] on 21 July 1897.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Army Pay Department.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Inland Water Transport.¹

     Magdalen Valerie Pringle was the daughter of Colonel Sir Norman William Drummond Pringle of Stichill, 7th Bt. and Louisa Clementina Steuart.² She died on 15 February 1925.¹
