     William Martins Le Poer Trench was born on 26 September 1866.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Le Poer Trench and Harriet Maria Georgina Martins.¹ He married Elinor Mary Cox, daughter of Dr. J. C. Cox, on 17 April 1891.² He died on 13 September 1904 at age 37, without issue.¹
     He lived at Coorheen, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada^G.^2,1

     Elinor Mary Cox is the daughter of Dr. J. C. Cox.¹ She married, firstly, William Martins Le Poer Trench, son of Colonel William Le Poer Trench and Harriet Maria Georgina Martins, on 17 April 1891.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Sydney Trench, son of Hon. Frederic Sydney Charles Trench and Lady Anne Le Poer Trench, on 6 November 1905.¹ She married, thirdly, Brig.-Gen. Ronald Campbell Machachlan on 7 January 1908.¹
     From 17 April 1891, her married name became Trench. From 7 January 1908, her married name became Machachlan.¹

     Hon. Sydney Trench was born on 9 January 1877.¹ He was the son of Hon. Frederic Sydney Charles Trench and Lady Anne Le Poer Trench.¹ He married Elinor Mary Cox, daughter of Dr. J. C. Cox, on 6 November 1905.¹ He died on 16 December 1905 at age 28.¹

     Ranulf II de Bayeux, Vicomte de Bessin was born circa 1050 at Bayeux, Normandy, France^G.³ He was the son of Ranulph de Bayeux, Vicomte de Bessin and Aliz de Normandie.³ He married Margaret d‘Avranches, daughter of Richard le Goz, Vicomte d’Avranches and Emma de Contville, circa 1069 at Avranches, Normandy, France^G.³ He died in November 1120.⁴
     He gained the title of Vicomte de Bayeux [Normandy] in 1089, or ‘de la Bessin’, of which Bayeux is the capital.⁴

     Hon. Frederic Sydney Charles Trench was born on 18 April 1839.² He was the son of Frederick Mason Trench, 2nd Baron Ashtown and Harriet Georgiana Cosby.¹ He married Lady Anne Le Poer Trench, daughter of William Thomas Le Poer Trench, 3rd Earl of Clancarty and Lady Sarah Juliana Butler, on 30 April 1867.² He died on 2 March 1879 at age 39.¹

     Lady Anne Le Poer Trench was born in 1839.² She was the daughter of William Thomas Le Poer Trench, 3rd Earl of Clancarty and Lady Sarah Juliana Butler.¹ She married Hon. Frederic Sydney Charles Trench, son of Frederick Mason Trench, 2nd Baron Ashtown and Harriet Georgiana Cosby, on 30 April 1867.³ She died on 12 March 1924.³
     Her married name became Trench.

     Power Henry Le Poer Trench was born on 11 May 1841.¹ He was the son of William Thomas Le Poer Trench, 3rd Earl of Clancarty and Lady Sarah Juliana Butler.¹ He died on 30 April 1899 at age 57, unmarried.¹
     He was Secretary of the British Embassy at Berlin between 1888 and 1893.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Mexico between 1893 and 1894.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Japan between 1894 and 1895.¹

     Lady Anne Butler was the daughter of Henry Thomas Butler, 2nd Earl of Carrick and Sarah Elizabeth Taylor.¹ She married Reverend Henry Maxwell, 6th Baron Farnham, son of Rt. Rev. Henry Maxwell and Margaret Foster, on 8 September 1798.² She died on 29 May 1831.²
     From 8 September 1798, her married name became Maxwell.

     Reverend Henry Maxwell, 6th Baron Farnham was born after 1768. He was the son of Rt. Rev. Henry Maxwell and Margaret Foster.² He married Lady Anne Butler, daughter of Henry Thomas Butler, 2nd Earl of Carrick and Sarah Elizabeth Taylor, on 8 September 1798.¹ He died on 19 October 1838.²
     He succeeded as the 6th Baron Farnham, of Farnham, co. Cavan [I., 1756] on 20 September 1838.²

     Hon. Richard Thomas Maxwell was born on 19 February 1815.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Maxwell, 6th Baron Farnham and Lady Anne Butler.² He married Charlotte Anne Elrington, daughter of Henry Preston Elrington, on 7 March 1848.² He died on 22 January 1874 at age 58.²
     He lived at Finnebrogue, County Down, Ireland^G.³ He lived at Fortland, County Cavan, Ireland^G.⁴
