     Major Sir Arthur Ralph Wilmot, 7th Bt. was born on 2 February 1909.¹ He was the son of Captain Sir Ralph Henry Sacheverel Wilmot, 6th Bt. and Lady Ada Marian Maitland.² He married Pamela Vera Garrard, daughter of Major Harry Sebastian Garrard, on 1 October 1936.¹ He died on 3 October 1942 at age 33 at North Africa^G, as the result of an accident.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Wilmot, of Chaddesden, co. Derby [G.B., 1759] on 14 January 1918.³ He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Battalion, Black Watch.¹

     Margaret Cecil Anne Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 17 March 1886. She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. William Fitzwilliam Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Elizabeth Fanny Rutherford.^1,2 She married Major Frederick Adrian Cathcart, son of Colonel Hon. Augustus Murray Cathcart and Hon. Jean Mary Orde-Powlett, on 15 November 1904.² She died on 2 March 1956 at age 69.¹
     Her married name became Cathcart.

     Major Frederick Adrian Cathcart was born on 26 June 1873.¹ He was the son of Colonel Hon. Augustus Murray Cathcart and Hon. Jean Mary Orde-Powlett.² He married Margaret Cecil Anne Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Fitzwilliam Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Elizabeth Fanny Rutherford, on 15 November 1904.¹ He died on 2 May 1943 at age 69.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He was Vice-Convener for Kirkcudbrightshire.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He lived at Drumgrange, Ardendee, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Colonel Hon. Augustus Murray Cathcart was born on 18 August 1830.¹ He was the son of General Charles Murray Cathcart, 2nd Earl Cathcart and Henrietta Mather.² He married Hon. Jean Mary Orde-Powlett, daughter of William Henry Orde-Powlett, 3rd Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle and Letitia Crawfurd, on 28 November 1866.² He died on 14 July 1914 at age 83.²
     He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire.¹

     Hon. Jean Mary Orde-Powlett was the daughter of William Henry Orde-Powlett, 3rd Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle and Letitia Crawfurd.¹ She married Colonel Hon. Augustus Murray Cathcart, son of General Charles Murray Cathcart, 2nd Earl Cathcart and Henrietta Mather, on 28 November 1866.¹ She died on 27 January 1931.¹
     Her married name became Cathcart.

     General Charles Murray Cathcart, 2nd Earl Cathcart was born on 21 December 1783 at Walton, Essex, England^G.¹ He was the son of General William Schaw Cathcart, 1st Earl Cathcart and Elizabeth Elliot.² Charles Murray and Henrietta were also married in a religious ceremony on 30 September 1818 at Château de Denacre, Boulogne, France^G.^3,1 He married Henrietta Mather, daughter of Thomas Mather, on 12 February 1819 at Portsea, Hampshire, England^G, in a civil marriage.¹ He died on 16 July 1859 at age 75 at St. Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 10 October 1859, at under £5,000.¹

     Henrietta Mather was the daughter of Thomas Mather.² Henrietta and Charles Murray were also married in a religious ceremony on 30 September 1818 at Château de Denacre, Boulogne, France^G.^1,3 She married General Charles Murray Cathcart, 2nd Earl Cathcart, son of General William Schaw Cathcart, 1st Earl Cathcart and Elizabeth Elliot, on 12 February 1819 at Portsea, Hampshire, England^G, in a civil marriage.³ She died on 24 June 1872 at Inch House, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.³ Her will was proven (by probate) on 29 August 1872, at under £16,000.³
     Her married name became Cathcart. After her marriage, Henrietta Mather was styled as Countess Cathcart on 16 June 1843.

     William Henry Orde-Powlett, 3rd Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle was born on 24 February 1818 at Weymouth Street, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Hon. Thomas Powlett Orde-Powlett and Letitia O’Brien.¹ He was baptised on 7 March 1818 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ He married Letitia Crawfurd, daughter of Robert Crawfurd, on 12 March 1844 at Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ He died on 7 November 1895 at age 77 at Bolton Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He was buried at Wensley, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate), at £224,590.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Bolton of Bolton Castle, co. York [G.B., 1797] on 13 July 1850.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)²
