     Hubert William Arthur Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound was born on 20 February 1891.¹ He was the son of Hon. Arthur Ralph Douglas Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Madeline Harriet Dagmar Ryan.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Hestor Owen, daughter of Sir Langer Meade Loftus Owen and Maria Louisa Dames-Longworth, on 27 February 1919.¹ He married, secondly, Pamela Violet Stirling, daughter of Lt.-Col. Patrick Douglas Stirling, on 15 January 1955.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1912 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Wiltshire regiment.²

     Mary Hestor Owen was born in 1895.² She was the daughter of Sir Langer Meade Loftus Owen and Maria Louisa Dames-Longworth.² She married Hubert William Arthur Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, son of Hon. Arthur Ralph Douglas Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Madeline Harriet Dagmar Ryan, on 27 February 1919.¹ She died on 16 February 1945.¹
     Her married name became Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound.

     Sir Langer Meade Loftus Owen was born on 27 August 1862 at Ellsmere, Hunters Hill, New South Wales, Australia^G.² He was the son of Sir William Owen and Elizabeth Carey.² He married Maria Louisa Dames-Longworth, daughter of Francis Travers Dames-Longworth and Frances Tennison Noble, on 5 September 1888 at Glynwood, Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.² He died on 25 January 1935 at age 72 at Ellsmere, Hunters Hill, New South Wales, Australia^G.²
     He held the office of Chief Judge of Divorce in the Supreme Court [New South Wales].¹

     Pamela Violet Stirling is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Patrick Douglas Stirling.² She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Charles Frederick Cathcart, son of Major Frederick Adrian Cathcart and Margaret Cecil Anne Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 25 August 1939.² She and Lt.-Col. Charles Frederick Cathcart were divorced in 1954.² She married, secondly, Hubert William Arthur Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, son of Hon. Arthur Ralph Douglas Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound and Madeline Harriet Dagmar Ryan, on 15 January 1955.¹
     From 25 August 1939, her married name became Cathcart. From 15 January 1955, her married name became Elliot.

     Lt.-Col. Patrick Douglas Stirling is the son of Patrick Stirling of Kippendavie and Margaret Mary Leith.
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He lived at Kippenross, Perthshire, Scotland^G.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Philipstoun House, Linlithgow, West Lothian, Scotland^G. He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)²

     Lt.-Col. Charles Frederick Cathcart was born on 26 March 1912.¹ He was the son of Major Frederick Adrian Cathcart and Margaret Cecil Anne Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound.² He married, firstly, Pamela Violet Stirling, daughter of Lt.-Col. Patrick Douglas Stirling, on 25 August 1939.¹ He married, secondly, Pamela Vera Garrard, daughter of Major Harry Sebastian Garrard, on 15 February 1955.¹ He and Pamela Violet Stirling were divorced in 1954.¹ He died on 15 March 1971 at age 58.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)² He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Black Watch.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned despatches.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1942 and bar (in 1945.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Fife in 1953.¹ He lived at Pitcairlie, Newburgh, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Pamela Vera Garrard is the daughter of Major Harry Sebastian Garrard.² She married, firstly, Major Sir Arthur Ralph Wilmot, 7th Bt., son of Captain Sir Ralph Henry Sacheverel Wilmot, 6th Bt. and Lady Ada Marian Maitland, on 1 October 1936.² She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Charles Frederick Cathcart, son of Major Frederick Adrian Cathcart and Margaret Cecil Anne Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, on 15 February 1955.¹
     From 1 October 1936, her married name became Wilmot. Her married name became Cathcart.
