     2nd Lt. Charles St. Aubyn Clarke was born circa 1898.¹ He was the son of Captain Robert William Clarke and Dorothy Ann St. Aubyn.¹ He died on 30 July 1918 at Station Hospital, Agra, Bengal, India^G, from endocarditis.¹
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in August 1915 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Inns of Court Officer Training Corps.¹ He gained the rank of officer in February 1917 in the Machine Gun Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War between July 1917 and October 1917, in France.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in November 1917 in the Indian Army.¹

     Mary Jane Inglis was the daughter of Reverend John Inglis and Maria Moxham Passmore.^2,3 She married John Mackenzie of Eilenach, son of Sir Hector Mackenzie of Gairloch, 4th Bt. and Christian Henderson, on 22 September 1826 at Glencorse, Midlothian, Scotland^G.^4,3 She died in 1897.⁴
     From 22 September 1826, her married name became Mackenzie.¹

     Gruffudd Hanmer is the son of Sir David Hanmer and Angharad verch Llewelyn.¹
     In 1400/1 his lands were confiscated for his support of his brother-in-law Owen Glendower.¹ In 1410 he was pardoned.¹

     Philip Hanmer was born in 1397.¹ He was the son of Sir David Hanmer and Angharad verch Llewelyn.¹ He died in 1415.¹

     Dafydd ap Bleddyn ‘Fychan’ lived at Llwynderw, Wales^G.¹

     Elizabeth Grey is the daughter of Sir Henry Grey, 2nd Comte de Tancarville and Antigone (?)¹ She married Sir Roger Kynaston.¹
     Her married name became Kynaston.¹

     David Hanmer is the son of Richard Hanmer and Margaret Kynaston.¹
     He lived at Ellesmere, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     John Hanmer is the son of Richard Hanmer and Margaret Kynaston.¹

     Christopher Hanmer is the son of Richard Hanmer and Margaret Kynaston.¹

     Humphrey Hanmer is the son of Richard Hanmer and Margaret Kynaston.¹
