     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Helston between 1689 and 1695.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Cornwall from 1704 to 1705.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet St. Aubyn, of Clowance, co. Cornwall [E., 1671] on 20 June 1714.¹

     Sir John St. Aubyn, 1st Bt. was born on 6 April 1645.² He was the son of John St. Aubyn and Catherine Godolphin.¹ He married Anne Jenkyn, daughter of James Jenkyn, on 14 November 1665.^1,2 He died on 20 June 1714 at age 69.¹
     He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.² He was created 1st Baronet St. Aubyn, of Clowance, co. Cornwall [England] on 11 December 1671.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Michael between 1679 and 1681.² He lived at Clowance, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Thomas St. Aubyn was the son of John St. Aubyn and Blanch Whittington.¹ He married Zenobia Mallet on 25 July 1590.^2,3 He died on 27 March 1626.³
