Christine Helene Weld Forester were divorced in 1981.1 He married, secondly, Masha Anne Hudson, daughter of Major Francis Edward Hudson and Masha Muirhead-Murray, in 1981.1 He and Masha Anne Hudson were divorced in 1990.3 He married, thirdly, Lavinia Wright, daughter of William Edward Wright, in 1991.1 He died on 29 July 2001 at age 72.3
