John Inglis, Lord Glencorse1 
John Inglis, Lord Glencorse was born on 21 August 1810 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was the son of Reverend John Inglis and Maria Moxham Passmore.1 He married Isabella Mary Wood, daughter of Alexander Wood, Lord Wood and Jane Anderson, on 20 July 1842 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He died on 20 August 1891 at age 80 at Loganbank House, East Kirklands, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He was buried at New Calton Cemetery, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1
He was styled as Lord Glencorse [Scottish Law Lord]. He held the office of Lord President of the Court of Session between 1867 and 1891.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Edinburgh (F.R.S.E.)1
