     Sir Timothy Shelley, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 September 1753.¹ He was the son of Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Bt. and Mary Catherine Michell.¹ He married Elizabeth Pilford, daughter of Charles Pilford, in October 1791.¹ He died on 24 April 1844 at age 90.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Shelley, of Castle Goring, co. Sussex [U.K., 1806] on 6 January 1815.¹
     He also had three daughters, all unmarried.²

     Elizabeth Pilford is the daughter of Charles Pilford.¹ She married Sir Timothy Shelley, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Bt. and Mary Catherine Michell, in October 1791.²
     From October 1791, her married name became Shelley.¹

     Mary Shelley is the daughter of Sir Timothy Shelley, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Pilford.¹ She married D. F. Haynes in 1819.¹
     From 1819, her married name became Haynes.¹

     Elizabeth Bowen was the daughter of Charles Bowen.¹ She married John Shelley, son of Sir Timothy Shelley, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Pilford, on 24 March 1827.² She died on 28 November 1889.¹
     Her married name became Shelley.

     Charles Bowen lived at Kilnacourt, County Laois, Ireland^G.¹

     Lady Grace Harriet Stopford was born on 3 December 1854.¹ She was the daughter of James George Henry Stopford, 5th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Elizabeth Frances Milles.¹ She married Captain John Strachen Bridges on 19 September 1878.¹ She died on 23 November 1916 at age 61.¹
     Her married name became Bridges.

     Captain John Strachen Bridges married Lady Grace Harriet Stopford, daughter of James George Henry Stopford, 5th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Elizabeth Frances Milles, on 19 September 1878.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.² He lived at Woodcote, Fleet, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Augusta Grace Chester-Master is the daughter of Godfrey Cornewall Chester-Master.¹ She married Vice-Admiral Hon. Arthur Stopford, son of James Walter Milles Stopford, 6th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Catherine Elizabeth Neville, on 25 November 1908.¹ She and Vice-Admiral Hon. Arthur Stopford were divorced in 1924.¹
     Her married name became Stopford.

     Cicely Mary Birch was born in 1885. She was the daughter of John Arden Birch and Charlotte Mary Leycester Stopford.¹ She married Major James Richard Neville Stopford, 7th Earl of Courtown, son of James Walter Milles Stopford, 6th Earl of Courtown and Hon. Catherine Elizabeth Neville, on 26 April 1905 at Trinity Church, Brompton, London, England^G.¹ She died in 1973.¹
     Her married name became Stopford. After her marriage, Cicely Mary Birch was styled as Countess of Courtown on 18 July 1933. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1936.² She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1942.² She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)²

     Godfrey Cornewall Chester-Master died before 1963.
     He lived at Rangeworthy Court, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
