     Major Aubrey Edmond Pery-Knox-Gore was born on 27 October 1883.1 He was the son of Edmond Henry Cockayne Pery-Knox-Gore and Sarah Jane Knox-Gore.2 He married Monica Bridges, daughter of Captain John Strachen Bridges and Lady Grace Harriet Stopford, on 17 May 1916.1 He died on 25 September 1960 at age 76.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.1 He gained the rank of Brigade Major in 1916.1

     Monica Bridges was the daughter of Captain John Strachen Bridges and Lady Grace Harriet Stopford.2,1 She married Major Aubrey Edmond Pery-Knox-Gore, son of Edmond Henry Cockayne Pery-Knox-Gore and Sarah Jane Knox-Gore, on 17 May 1916.1 She died on 3 December 1973.1
     From 17 May 1916, her married name became Pery-Knox-Gore.1
