     William Shelley was born in 1816.¹ He was the son of Percy Bysshe Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin.¹ He died, young.¹

     George Ernest Shelley was born on 15 May 1840.¹ He was the son of John Shelley and Elizabeth Bowen.¹ He married Janet Andrewes, daughter of E. Andrewes, in 1869.¹ He died on 29 November 1910 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Janet Andrewes was the daughter of E. Andrewes.¹ She married George Ernest Shelley, son of John Shelley and Elizabeth Bowen, in 1869.¹ She died on 10 September 1955.¹
     From 1869, her married name became Shelley.¹

     Cicely Alice Colquhoun Bosanquet was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Lionel Arthur Bosanquet.¹ She married Major George Edward Shelley, son of George Ernest Shelley and Janet Andrewes, on 8 December 1920.¹ She and Major George Edward Shelley were divorced in 1935.¹ She died on 22 February 1954.¹
     From 8 December 1920, her married name became Shelley.¹

     Lt.-Col. Lionel Arthur Bosanquet is the son of Arthur Bosanquet.

     Rosemary Eveline Shelley was born on 10 October 1921.¹ She is the daughter of Major George Edward Shelley and Cicely Alice Colquhoun Bosanquet.¹
     She gained the rank of Subaltern between 1941 and 1950 in the Auxiliary Territorial Service and Women’s Royal Army Corps.¹
