     Captain Hon. Terence Victor Stopford was born on 3 October 1918.¹ He was the son of Major James Richard Neville Stopford, 7th Earl of Courtown and Cicely Mary Birch.¹ He married Sheila Adèle Page, daughter of Philip H. Page, on 1 September 1951.¹ He died on 8 February 1998 at age 79.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was commanding officer of the H.M.S. Manxman between 1963 and 1964.¹ He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1969.¹ He retired from the military in 1969, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Navy.¹

     Sheila Adèle Page was the daughter of Philip H. Page.¹ She married Captain Hon. Terence Victor Stopford, son of Major James Richard Neville Stopford, 7th Earl of Courtown and Cicely Mary Birch, on 1 September 1951.¹ She died in 1994.¹
     Her married name became Stopford.

     He was educated at Pangbourne Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Irish Guards.¹

     Lady Patricia Mary Stopford was born on 1 February 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Major James Richard Neville Stopford, 7th Earl of Courtown and Cicely Mary Birch.¹ She married Maurice John Hayward, son of Sir Maurice Henry Weston Hayward and Alice Christine Barber, on 26 May 1934.¹ She died on 29 July 2000 at age 94.¹
     Her married name became Hayward.

     Maurice John Hayward was the son of Sir Maurice Henry Weston Hayward and Alice Christine Barber.¹ He married Lady Patricia Mary Stopford, daughter of Major James Richard Neville Stopford, 7th Earl of Courtown and Cicely Mary Birch, on 26 May 1934.¹ He died on 3 September 2001.¹
     He was with the Malayan Civil Service.¹

     Sir Maurice Henry Weston Hayward was born on 9 June 1868. He married Alice Christine Barber, daughter of William Barber, on 22 October 1892.
     He lived at Wade Hill House, Totton, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)¹

     Maurice Richard Hayward was born on 16 August 1939.¹ He is the son of Maurice John Hayward and Lady Patricia Mary Stopford.¹ He married Christina Hyland, daughter of Matthew Hyland, on 27 April 1968.¹
