Alice Sedgwick Mankiewicz1 
Alice Sedgwick Mankiewicz was the daughter of James Mankiewicz.1 She married, firstly, Sir Julius Charles Wernher, 1st Bt. on 12 June 1888. She married, secondly, Henry Ludlow Lopes, 2nd Baron Ludlow, son of Henry Charles Lopes, 1st Baron Ludlow and Cordelia Lucy Clark, on 25 September 1919.1 She died on 30 November 1945.
From 12 June 1888, her married name became Wernher. From 25 September 1919, her married name became Lopes. After her marriage, Alice Sedgwick Mankiewicz was styled as Baroness Ludlow on 25 September 1919. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)3
