John Osmael Scott-Ellis, 9th Lord Howard de Walden1 

John Osmael Scott-Ellis, 9th Lord Howard de Walden was born on 27 November 1912 at London, EnglandG.3 He was the son of Thomas Evelyn Scott-Ellis, 8th Lord Howard de Walden and Margherita van Raalte.3 He married, firstly, Irene Gräfin von Harrach, daughter of Hans-Albrecht Graf von Harrach and Helene Gräfin von und zu Arco-Zinneberg, on 21 August 1934.3 He married, secondly, Gillian Margaret Buckley, daughter of Cyril Francis Stewart Buckley and Audrey Burmester, in 1978.3 He died on 9 July 1999 at age 86.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Major in the Westminster Dragoons (Territorial Army.)3 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Howard de Walden [E., 1597] on 5 November 1946.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Seaford of Seaford [U.K., 1826] on 5 November 1946.3 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1953.3 He was director of Howard de Walden Estates Ltd, Alliance Assurances and Sun Alliance and London Insurance.3 On his death, the baroney fell into abeyance between his daughters until 2004.1

Irene Gräfin von Harrach 
Irene Gräfin von Harrach also went by the nick-name of Nucci. Her married name became Scott-Ellis. After her marriage, Irene Gräfin von Harrach was styled as Baroness Seaford of Seaford on 5 November 1946.
