Roland Dening and Clare de Burgh Garratt.1 He married Joy Bond, daughter of George Montgomery Bond and Kathleen Emberson Gallaher, on 3 March 1945 at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton Road, London, England.1 He died on 19 October 1990 at age 73 at Aller Barton, Cullompton, Devon, England.1
He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1
