Sir William Gordon of Invergordon, 1st Bt.1 
He was created 1st Baronet Gordon, of Invergordon in 1704.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland between 1708 and 1713. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland between 1714 and 1727. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cromarty from 1741 to 1742.
