     Hon. Bernard Bruce was born on 12 June 1917.¹ He was the son of Victor Alexander Bruce, 13th Earl of Kincardine and Gertrude Lilian Sherbrooke.² He married, firstly, Mary Coxe Miller, daughter of Philippus Miller, on 19 March 1958.¹ He and Mary Coxe Miller were divorced in 1968.¹ He married, secondly, Georgina Julia Susan Argenti, daughter of Philip Pandely Argenti and Alexandra Helen Schilizzi, on 5 December 1970.¹ He and Georgina Julia Susan Argenti were divorced in 1976.¹ He married, thirdly, Mary Patricia Macdonald, daughter of Major Donald Ramsay Macdonald, on 2 July 1976.¹ He died on 17 June 1983 at age 66.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards (Special Reserve.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1943.¹

     Mary Coxe Miller is the daughter of Philippus Miller.² She married, firstly, Humphrey Humphries before 1958.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Bernard Bruce, son of Victor Alexander Bruce, 13th Earl of Kincardine and Gertrude Lilian Sherbrooke, on 19 March 1958.¹ She and Hon. Bernard Bruce were divorced in 1968.¹
     From before 1958, her married name became Humphries.¹ Her married name became Bruce.

     James Katz was born circa 1995.¹ He is the son of Jonathan Katz and Antonia Jane Rowe.¹

     Edward Hay-MacKenzie of Newhall and Cromartie was the son of John Hay and Dorothy Hayhurst.² He married Hon. Maria Murray-Mackenzie, daughter of George Murray, 6th Lord Elibank and Lady Isabella Mackenzie, on 3 May 1790.³ He died on 5 December 1814.²
     He was given the name of Edward Hay at birth.² He lived at Newhall, Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland^G.³

     Hon. Maria Murray-Mackenzie was the daughter of George Murray, 6th Lord Elibank and Lady Isabella Mackenzie.¹ She married Edward Hay-MacKenzie of Newhall and Cromartie, son of John Hay and Dorothy Hayhurst, on 3 May 1790.¹ She died on 8 October 1858.²
     Her name was legally changed to Maria Murray-Mackenzie added on inheriting the Cromarty estates.² She was given the name of Maria Murray at birth.² From 3 May 1790, her married name became Hay.²

     Lady Isabella Mackenzie was born circa 1725.¹ She was the daughter of George Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Cromarty and Isabel Gordon.¹ She married George Murray, 6th Lord Elibank, son of Alexander Murray, 4th Lord Elibank and Elizabeth Stirling, on 8 January 1760.² She died on 28 December 1801, without male issue.¹
     Her married name became Murray. In 1796 she inherited the Cromarty estates from her cousin Kenneth.²

     Isabel Gordon was born circa 1706.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William Gordon of Invergordon, 1st Bt. and Christian Hamilton.¹ She married George Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Cromarty, son of John Mackenzie, 2nd Earl of Cromarty and Mary Murray, on 23 September 1724.¹ She died on 23 April 1769 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was buried at Canongate, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹
     Isabel Gordon also went by the nick-name of ‘Bonnie Bell’ Gordon.¹ Her married name became Mackenzie.

     Sir William Gordon of Invergordon, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Adam Gordon and Anne Urquhart. He married Christian Hamilton, daughter of Sir John Hamilton.¹ He died on 9 June 1742.
     He was created 1st Baronet Gordon, of Invergordon in 1704.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland between 1708 and 1713. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sutherland between 1714 and 1727. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cromarty from 1741 to 1742.

     Anne Gibson-Craig was born on 1 July 1802 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Sir James Gibson-Craig of Riccarton, 1st Bt. and Anne Thomson.^1,3 She married John Hay-Mackenzie, son of Edward Hay-MacKenzie of Newhall and Cromartie and Hon. Maria Murray-Mackenzie, on 23 April 1828.⁴ She died on 8 September 1869 at age 67.²
     Her married name became Hay-Mackenzie.
