     Charles Russell, Baron Russell of Killowen was born on 10 November 1832.¹ He was the son of Arthur Russell and Margaret Mullan.² He married Ellen Mulholland, daughter of Joseph Stevenson Mulholland, on 10 August 1858.³ He died on 10 August 1900 at age 67.¹
     He was educated at Castleknock College^G.⁴ He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.⁴ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1859 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.⁴ He held the office of Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn in 1872.⁴ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1872.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dundalk between 1880 and 1885.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hackney, South Division between 1885 and 1894.⁴ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1886.⁴ He held the office of Attorney-General between February 1886 and July 1886.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Surrey.³ He held the office of Attorney-General between 1892 and 1894.⁴ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1893.¹ He was Counsel for GB Bering Sea Arbitration in 1893.³ He held the office of Treasurer of Lincoln’s Inn in 1893.⁴ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1894.³ He held the office of Lord of Appeal in Ordinary in 1894.¹ He was created Baron Russell of Killowen, of Killowen in the County Down [U.K. Law Lord] on 7 May 1894.⁴

     Hon. Edmond Atkins married Lady Anne Mackenzie, daughter of George Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Cromarty and Isabel Gordon.¹ He died on 8 October 1761.¹
     He held the office of President of the Council of South Carolina.¹

     John Murray married Lady Anne Mackenzie, daughter of George Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Cromarty and Isabel Gordon, on 16 February 1764.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Caroline Hunter was the daughter of Walter Hunter and Lady Caroline Mackenzie.¹ She married James Elliot of Woollie on 1 September 1799.¹ She died on 25 April 1824.¹
     From 1 September 1799, her married name became Elliot.¹

     He was a practising Writer to the Signet (W.S.)¹

     John Glassford of Dougalston married Lady Margaret Mackenzie, daughter of George Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Cromarty and Isabel Gordon, on 21 March 1769.¹

     Augusta Mackenzie was born circa 1747.² She was the daughter of George Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Cromarty and Isabel Gordon.¹ She married Sir William Murray of Ochtertyre, 5th Bt., son of Sir Patrick Murray of Ochtertyre, 4th Bt. and Helen Hamilton, on 6 March 1770.¹ She died on 20 January 1809 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.²
     From 6 March 1770, her married name became Murray.¹

     Sir William Murray of Ochtertyre, 5th Bt. was born on 23 October 1746 at Ochtertyre, Perthshire, Scotland^G.² He was the son of Sir Patrick Murray of Ochtertyre, 4th Bt. and Helen Hamilton.^2,3 He married Augusta Mackenzie, daughter of George Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Cromarty and Isabel Gordon, on 6 March 1770.¹ He died on 6 December 1800 at age 54 at Ochtertyre, Perthshire, Scotland^G.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Murray, of Ochtertyre, co. Perth [N.S., 1673] on 9 September 1764.³

     Sir Patrick Murray of Ochtertyre, 4th Bt. was born on 21 August 1707 at Monivaird^G.¹ He was the son of Sir William Murray of Ochtertyne, 3rd Bt. and Catherine Fraser.¹ He married Helen Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, on 18 February 1741.² He died on 9 September 1764 at age 57 at Ochtertyre, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Murray, of Ochtertyre, co. Perth [N.S., 1673] on 20 October 1739.³

     Mary Ann Mackenzie is the daughter of Kenneth Mackenzie.¹
