     Lt.-Col. Philip Henry Herbert Hulton Preston was born on 11 December 1914.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Philip Henry Hulton Preston and Dorothy May Jennings.² He married, secondly, Jean Mary Turner, daughter of Harold Neale Turner.¹ He married, firstly, Katherine Janet Broomhall, daughter of Dr. Benjamin Charles Broomhall and Marion Aldwinckle, on 9 November 1940.¹ He died on 4 January 1973 at age 58 at Teddington, London, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the South Lancashire Regimentt, formerly 2nd KEO, Gurkha Rifles, Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹

     Dr. Benjamin Charles Broomhall was born on 16 March 1875 at Godalming, Surrey, England.² He is the son of Benjamin Broomhall and Amelia Hudson Taylor.² He married Marion Aldwinckle on 28 February 1905 at China.² He died on 2 January 1961 at age 85 at Little Mount, Redlynch, Wiltshire, England.²
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)³ He lived at Little Mount, Redlynch, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Katherine Janet Broomhall was born on 7 March 1914 at China.² She was the daughter of Dr. Benjamin Charles Broomhall and Marion Aldwinckle.^3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Philip Henry Herbert Hulton Preston, son of Lt.-Col. Philip Henry Hulton Preston and Dorothy May Jennings, on 9 November 1940.¹ She died on 14 November 1968 at age 54.¹
     From 9 November 1940, her married name became Preston.

     Caroline Elizabeth Preston was born on 24 January 1943.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Philip Henry Herbert Hulton Preston and Katherine Janet Broomhall.² She married Paul Louis Edelin de la Praudierè in 1974.¹
     From 1974, her married name became de la Praudierè. She lived in 2003 at 128 Palewell Park, London, England^G.¹

     Paul Louis Edelin de la Praudierè married Caroline Elizabeth Preston, daughter of Lt.-Col. Philip Henry Herbert Hulton Preston and Katherine Janet Broomhall, in 1974.¹

     Philip Louis de la Praudierè was born in 1975.¹ He is the son of Paul Louis Edelin de la Praudierè and Caroline Elizabeth Preston.²

     William Francis Paul de la Praudierè was born in 1977.¹ He is the son of Paul Louis Edelin de la Praudierè and Caroline Elizabeth Preston.²

     Alexandra Helen Schilizzi is the daughter of Stephen Schilizzi and Julia Ralli.² She married Philip Pandely Argenti, son of Pandeli Leonidas Argenti and Fanny Schilizzi, on 20 February 1930.¹
     From 20 February 1930, her married name became Argenti.¹
