     Lt.-Cdr. Lachlan Ronald Duncan Mackintosh, 30th of Mackintosh was born on 27 June 1928.² He was the son of Vice-Admiral Lachlan Donald Mackintosh, 29th of Mackintosh and Margaret Elisabeth Darroch.² He married Mabel Cecilia Helen Bruce, daughter of Captain Hon. (Scot.)¹
