Alexander Gavin Henderson, 2nd Baron Faringdon1 
Alexander Gavin Henderson, 2nd Baron Faringdon was born on 20 March 1902.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Harold Greenwood Henderson and Lady Violet Charlotte Dalzell.1 He married Hon. Honor Chedworth Philipps, daughter of Owen Cosby Philipps, 1st and last Baron Kylsant and Mai Alice Magdalene Morris, on 2 June 1927.3 He died on 29 January 1977 at age 74, without issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at McGill University, Montréal, Quebec, CanadaG.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1924 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 His marriage to Hon. Honor Chedworth Philipps was annulled in 1931.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Faringdon, of Buscot Park, co. Berks. [U.K., 1916] on 17 March 1934.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Henderson [U.K., 1902] on 17 March 1934.1 He held the office of Member of the London City Council between 1958 and 1961.1
