Edwyn Sherard Burnaby was born on 22 May 1830.3 He was the son of Edwyn Burnaby and Anne Caroline Salisbury.3,4 He was baptised on 5 June 1830 at Hungerton, Leicestershire, England.4 He married Louisa Julia Mary Dixie in 1864 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.5 He died on 13 May 1883 at age 52.3
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.5 He lived at Baggrave, Leicestershire, EnglandG.1
